Do you feel the need for a pope to speak
elegance against the powers that be
ask yourself who has the courage to lift
the wings of downtrodden angels up high
hold yourselves to higher standards as time

slips away, unexpectedly, and death
invites all inside her fat pregnant womb
look around now, who else will take the time
engineered and structured before our births
not by our own hands but by ignorance
entertaining the need for delusion
simply building upon historic greed

ask yourself who will stand up to hatred

vicious children all grown up, broken down
obviously tainted and corrupted
in their dealings with the lost lambs of God
chosen by Satan, the bringer of light
epimethean hindsight against fire

for darkness rules with no moral compass
ordinary people balk as Christians
remember Christ as your savior, rejoice

then act as He, embrace the downtrodden
homeless, victims of social conditions
endless cycles of generations lost

victory comes with finishing the race
only the weary cross the finish line
in the blink of an eye comes creation
ceaseless, eternal nature feeds the world
enterprising youth command capital
leave the weak to fend for themselves, soldier
ecstatic with wealth, none care for the poor
sanity comes with solvency, bankrupt
stupidity, Cupid slays with arrows
