The Cloude of Unknowyng

This California Reject resolves to
honor the dishonorable discharge
involved in conspiracy theories past
suck it up, love, you can never undo

California sobriety, so lit
arguments without words appear so large
lit like an unlit billboard, shadows cast
ignorance in the guise of all-knowing
freedom bound to the bed with lover's spit
ordered to disorder command center
rejects detained for depatriation
necessary to orbit off-center
inebriated repatriation
ancient succession, cloud of unknowing

Respond to unresponsive boogie board
ejected from the tube into blue skies
jettison overboard the jetsam thrown
ego and mind, bodysurf with no cord
cordless without a leash like a dog loose
traveling at the speed of light, no lies

remember the good times gone for good, blown
epically high into the clouds, beyond
sober with espresso, yes, no Grey Goose
objective to resolve, how to come down
liquid sunshine dazed by the infinite
visions of the mystic, harlequin clown
embark on a mission, no appetite
survives the heights of despair, placid pond

tranquil as a mirror reflects the mind
obsolete language games, pepper to grind
