wisdom is lost on young and old alike
how I am sorry to speak even here
aperture of a camera lets light pass
transforms the phenomenal world, a room

words inside a box etch dark images
arched chamber of privacy, words escape
secretly, without a judge or jury

catharsis cleanses the surface at depth
ordinary or extraordinary
meaning nullifies actions with slogans
insistent on retribution, assigns
nemesis to karma, a clear mistake
guaranteed to endless and needless war

triumph for the victors, the spoils of hate
obedience gains the highest honor
