Colorless green ideas sleep furiously

Concerning light within a transmission
omission concerning actions neglect
light as spectrum in particles or waves
obligations require a commission
regarding actions of active duty
limited to a service to inspect
empty rubbish bins, evidence near graves
serial killer exhumes skeletons
simply to hide the bodies, their sooty

grotesque, ashen demeanor, their faces
reveal their last moment alive in fear
enveloped in a mystery, spaces
empty of permanence, devoid of clear
necessary discourse explained by nuns

ideologically unsound to blame
dysfunctional adult-children of rage
engage in hand-to-hand combat with wine
absent of a false sense of self, the shame
surfaces at moments, full of distress

sinister when in a rush, in a cage
leftovers reheated without a spine
every book, a collection of pages
every book, a collection of leaves mess
pistachio shells on the train floorboards

forgetful of righteous indignation
until symphony musicians play chords
