endless torments await they who enter

argue with God in prayer and you will find
that Paradise disappears, a hard sell

Create Heaven and Earth in seven days
restless insomniac with no center
except billions of years later, a blind
advocate for mental health sees sorrow
tyrants overturn truth, lost in a haze
institutional racism, a gift
of ancestors who prized power, the rift
never more than debts to pay and borrow
