Meaningless Gibberish: Words on the Page ~ Sunday, October 18, 2026

If I were to talk, you were to listen
from my experience, as to convey

I understand, what now, I cannot give

were I to try, I would then fail, fasten
everybody, shall we go for a ride
remember to feed the Japanese koi
everybody in the same boat, behave

to learn the rules to bend or break the switch
off the tree, the children, whom you forbade

tell me the truth, the mirror and the walls
as one reflects, the others hear with ears
long as a black-tailed jackrabbit, who pulls
kindness out of a hat, searching, he feels

yolk inside an egg, as if to watch
out for pedestrians, people who walk
underneath red octagons saying STOP

were you to listen, the rules of the road
each time you roll past the line with a jerk
reality pulls you up, jackrabbit
each lack of consideration, you drip

tap, tap, tap on the pots and pans, you float
on dreams of ontological landscapes

liquid sunshine dazzles the mind, rapid
internal neural networks melt, compute
synapses meld, connections lost, design
tomorrow an idea, as we debate
eternity as a concept, refrain
now from all arguments, look, telescopes
